Hermès silk scarf featuring the Voitures Paniers (Basket Carriages) pattern, designed by artist Francoise de la Perriere and first issued in 1984. The design depicts a central white harnessed horse surrounded by four quadrants containing various antique horse-drawn carriages and figures. The central motifs are framed by an intricate gold-tone basketweave and braided rope border against a vibrant fuchsia pink background. The scarf is made of 100 percent silk and finished with traditional hand-rolled edges. Printed inscriptions on the silk include HERMES PARIS and VOITURES PANIERS within scroll banners, along with the copyright mark © HERMES. A white fabric care label sewn into the hem reads MADE IN FRANCE, 100% SILK, DRY CLEAN ONLY.
