Any information would be appreciated!

I purchased this scarf at a thrift store. From my own limited research I’m fairly certain its authentic but I came here for advice from the experts! The edges are rolled.forward, there is a small “c” in the corner near the artist’s name. Thank you.

What a great thrift store buy! I’m no expert on authenticity, but it’s certainly a lovely scarf to enjoy.

Definately authentic .
It’s “Courbettes Et Cabrioles” by Francoise Faconnet and was issued in 1962 …( and again in 1993 ) .
Yours is from 1962. As the copyright is old .
A wonderful find .

Thank you so much ! I appreciate the reply! Where would i go to find the value ?

It’s vintage so depending on condition and desirability …it all in the eye of the buyer .
I sell beautiful vintage scarfs and find that if they are not vibrant with colour …I sell for around 250 /300 us .
People want new !
Wash it but first remove and stains ( amodex if great from Amazon ) .Rinse with 2 tbs. Vinegar and roll in a towel .
After 5 mins …steam iron but use a sizing spray ( Niagara is great )…do not be heavy handed with the iron and avoid the rolled edges .
You will be amazed at the beauty of this scarf .

Thank you again for the great advice! I’m so afraid to clean it. I .ay just gently steam it. It actually appers that it was never worn, and still had the folds in it but got wrinkled in the Goodwill bin. There were other french silk scarves as well so I imagine they came from the same estate. Im going back to take another look !

Oh, I’d love to understand more about the copyright mark. How does a “new” copyright mark differ from the one on this scarf? Thanks Carolyn
