I recently purchased an HERMÈS scarf from a secondhand market.
Based on the quality of the print, hand-rolled edges, and the woven texture, I believe it to be authentic, but I would appreciate insight from those more knowledgeable—especially regarding the production year and tag details.
• “HERMÈS - PARIS ©” is printed at the center, with a red dot inside the © mark.
• The care tag is a simple folded label reading only “100% SOIE”, sewn upside down.
• Size: approx. 90×90 cm; Weight: about 64g.
• The twill weave is visible—with diagonal ribbing that, to my untrained eye, appears consistent with typical HERMÈS scarves.
• The fabric has a soft touch and moderate drape. At first, I suspected it might be polyester because it feels slightly stiffer than another scarf I own (“Les Clés”), which has more thickness and flow. However, I now believe this one is also silk. Please note this is only my personal impression and not definitive.
• Condition: very clean with minimal wear.
At the moment, I’ve uploaded only a full-view photo, but I can provide detailed images (tags, edges, etc.) upon request.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
