Turqueries En L’Honneur De Mr De T

Turqueries En L’Honneur De Mr De T “

The design by Christophe Donnadieu is so detailed……. a scene of St. Peter’s Square in Rome, with beautifully dressed figures in Turkish costume and equestrian motifs.
“Mr T” in the title refers to Jean‑François de Troy, a celebrated French Rococo painter (1679–1752), His work often portrayed richly dressed figures in ornate settings, much like the composition of this scarf.
The scarf pays homage to his artistic vision by combining baroque European architecture with Ottoman influences …also with the center design of St. Peter’s square .

Thanks for the contribution !
